Outdoor Investigators (Grades 3-4, Ages 8-10)
Fires, monsoons, and frost! The plants and animals that live here have to be well adapted to survive! In this group, your child will learn more about the different plants and animals that live in this area and what they do to survive changes in their environment. Camp will be a fun-filled full day of learning, playing, and exploring in the Prescott National Forest.
For rising 3rd and 4th graders
Highlands Adventurists (Grades 5-6, Ages 10-12)
In this full-day camp, your child will explore the forests and creeks surrounding the Highlands Center. Campers discover how animals and humans interact with landforms, rivers, plants, and more! They will work in teams, play games, perform skits, write creative stories, design models, create art, and explore as scientists.
For rising 5th and 6th graders
Jr. Naturalists (Grades 7-8, Ages 12-13)
There’s a reason we call this group the Junior Naturalists! These young scientists will be outside all day, fine tuning their observation skills by looking for patterns in the way organisms interact and compete with each other to obtain the resources they need to survive. If your child wants to make new friends, play games, explore their creative side, collect data, or just be outside all week, this is the place to be!
For rising 7th and 8th graders
