No physical tickets are issued. After registering, your name will be on the check-in list, and a transaction acknowledgment will be sent to your email.

The Kiwanis Amphitheater is an outdoor, open-air venue surrounded by the natural beauty of the Highlands Center. The space features cushioned seating, shaded areas, and ADA-accessible access, creating a comfortable setting for concerts, programs, and community gatherings.

Shakespeare in the Pines: A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Shakespeare in the Pines returns to the Highlands Center’s Kiwanis Amphitheater this June with A Midsummer Night’s Dream, presented in partnership with LAARK Productions. Set in the township of Athens in 1884, this playful Arizona Territory twist on Shakespeare’s classic tale follows star-crossed lovers, feuding fairies, mistaken identities, and Puck’s famous mischief as two worlds collide on one enchanted midsummer night.

Join us beneath the pines for a beautiful summer evening of live theater, delicious food, wine, and community in the heart of Prescott National Forest. Whether you are planning a date night, a quiet evening with friends, or a special night out surrounded by the forest, Shakespeare in the Pines offers a setting unlike any other.

Performances will take place June 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, and 27, 2026.

Doors open at 5:45 PM for a pre-show reception featuring buffet-style catering by El Gato Azul and wine from Page Springs Cellars. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, enjoy their meal, explore the gardens, and settle in before the performance begins promptly at 6:50 PM. Highlands Center members receive front row seating.

Each ticket includes both the performance and food. Shakespeare in the Pines is a fundraiser supporting the Highlands Center’s education programs, including youth programs, school field trips, summer camps, and year-round community learning experiences. As a nonprofit organization, the Highlands Center depends on community support to sustain the programs, trails, and outdoor learning experiences that connect people of all ages with the natural world. Your ticket purchase supports this mission, whether or not you choose to enjoy the catered food.

Juniper Jamz Concert Series

Join us for our first annual Juniper Jamz Summer Concert Series, the Highlands Center for Natural History’s summer Saturday concert series bringing local live music to our outdoor venue in Prescott, AZ. Enjoy an evening of music, community, and summer nights among the pines. Tickets are $30 per night. No physical tickets will be provided. Once registered, guests only need to give their name at the check-in table upon arrival. Highlands Center members will receive priority seating in the first few rows.
