About

Hiking Spree is an annual community-wide event that takes place each fall and can be completed at the participant’s own pace. People from all over the state come to Prescott to hike 8 out of 10 trails within the Prescott National Forest and the City of Prescott.

Hiking Spree 2026

Hike, or attempt, 8 out of 10 of the hikes by December 7th to be entered into a raffle for a $300 gift card from The Hike Shack! Tag us on your hikes via social media!

Purchase a special commemorative hiking spree patch from the Benson Family Nature Store for $5!

Hikes can be submitted online or in person at our nature store.

Trail maps for this year’s spree are available on our website!

-There will be no kickoff this year.
