Two worlds will collide on a single summer night…
A midsummer wedding is about to take place in the seemingly well-ordered township of Athens, while a bitter feud is stirring in the surrounding forest. An amateur play rehearsal, a desperate elopement, and a jealous pursuit draw the mortal townsfolk away from the safety of their civilization and into the realm where the fairies dwell.
When fairies and mortals mix can mayhem be far behind?
The Highlands Center for Natural History and Laark Productions present the 13th annual Shakespeare in the Pines production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, a playful romp from the world of men through the forest of dreams and back again.
