Sense of Place in the Highlands: A Naturalist’s Journey With Walt Anderson

Designed for beginners, new residents, and seasoned naturalists alike, this course blends classroom learning with field study to cultivate keen observation, ecological literacy, and a richer connection to the natural world. Whether you are just beginning your naturalist journey or have spent a lifetime exploring these landscapes, you will gain new insights into the distinctive ecosystems of the Highlands.

Sessions will be held Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Highlands Center for Natural History, combining indoor instruction with outdoor exploration.
