October 22 at 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

What began as a curiosity about the traditions and folklore related to trees planted in the center of many farms in Norway, ‘Tuntre’, and Sweden, ‘Vårdträd’, led Douglas Hulmes, emeritus Professor of Environmental Studies and Education at Prescott College, to a recognition of a tradition that can still be observed in the cultural landscape today.  Learn more by clicking this link.

$27 for members, $30 for nonmembers. If you are a volunteer who donated 50 hours in 2019 please call 928-776-9550 to register.
