Insights to the Outdoors: Raptors of Prescott

September 22, 2020 at 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Insights to the Outdoors Fall 2020 takes flight!  Come learn about resident falcons, hawks, eagles, and ospreys.  In this class you will learn to identify features and behaviors of these local birds of prey.  George Carpenter, biologist and teacher at Yavapai College, will share stories and insights from his years as a field researcher and rehabilitator and reveal how these birds have adapted to live in the Prescott area. After an engaging outdoor lecture and discussion, your new skills will be tested with some fun, identification games. This lecture is offered twice. Expect to never look up towards the sky the same way again!

$27 for members, $30 for nonmembers. If you are a volunteer who donated 50 hours in 2019 please call 928-776-9550 to register.
