Everyone knows the Discovery Gardens and Highlands Center trails are a wonderful place to spend your time, but on Discovery Saturdays there will be more to visit, explore, and learn! On the last Saturday of every month naturalists will be leading hikes at 10am and 11am, educators will be in the Discovery Gardens with hands-on activities, and there will be storyboards of picture books for you and your young ones to read and follow along the pathways.
Due to COVID-19 all education programming will be outside. Prepare to be comfortable outside, expect to practice physical distancing, and masks are required.
Note: Walks occur on the unpaved trails at the Highlands Center. These trails have variable grades and roughness. Some hikes require stepping off trail onto rocky terrain. Please contact us if you have concerns.
