A prince disguises himself as a peasant to woo a lovely maiden. The Winter’s Tale by William Shakespeare is a fairy tale filled with love and loss, innocence and betrayal, the power of truth and an opportunity for redemption.
This popular outdoor theater experience begins with an opening reception hosted by the Highlands Center featuring brews, hors d’oeuvres, wine, non-alcoholic beverages and desserts from local vendors. Laark Productions inventive and immersive staging has proven to be a major draw for their productions. The audience is invited to abandon their inhibitions as this site-specific theater company begins the performance among the guests at the reception.
