Knee High Naturalists
For 3 to 5 year-olds
(Parents & Guardians will attend and participate as well)
Explore the Prescott National Forest with your Knee High Naturalist and open your eyes to the ‘little big world’ of the Arizona Central Highlands. Learn about the local animals and how they live in this unique environment. Become the animal through role play and learn its life cycle, what it eats, and about its family.
Knee High Naturalist Program
Run like a pronghorn, scurry like a beetle, and fly like a raven! You and your Knee High Naturalist will have fun learning together as you examine real plant and animal specimens, complete scavenger hunts, enjoy a snack and story, and make a craft to take home.
This spring’s program will meet each week on Mondays from 9:30-11 am to focus on the biology and life cycle of a specific animal.
