Knee High Naturalists

For 3 to 5 year-olds
(Parents & Guardians will attend and participate as well)

Explore the Prescott National Forest with your Knee High Naturalist and open your eyes to the ‘little big world’ of the Arizona Central Highlands. Learn about the local animals and how they live in this unique environment. Become the animal through role play and learn its life cycle, what it eats, and about its family.

Knee High Naturalist Program

Classes meet every Monday in the spring and fall and include role playing, a craft, a snack, a story, and activities with real plant and animal specimens!

This fall’s program will meet each week to focus on the biology and life cycle of a specific animal. Hop like a grasshopper, scurry like a lizard, and fly like a woodpecker!
