Attracting local wildlife can be as simple as planting native plants in your own yard. Take Blue Grama, a perennial bunchgrass. It may not have the large flashy flowers like Sundrops or Penstemons, but it produces seeds that attract seed-eating birds such as Chickadees, Finches, Nuthatches, and Grosbeaks! Check out Audubon.org to find more plants and other ways to attract birds to your yard. Spend some time outside checking out some of the native birds and plan how your backyard can be a stop for them. At our online Grow Native plant sale, you can buy Blonde Ambition, a variation of Blue Grama to attract birds this summer!
