Jan. 17 – This year the Highlands Center’s annual Sunday Cinemas kick off with Life in the Undergrowth: Supersocieties narrated by Sir David Attenborough. Invertebrates, there are 200 million of them, and David Attenborough reveals the amazing stories behind these tiny lives.

Jan. 24 – Take a journey around the world and through the unfamiliar with Africa: Eye to Eye with the Unknown – Congo: Beautiful, surprising, dramatic and gripping, this stunning series narrated by Sir David Attenborough, reveals Africa as you’ve never seen it before.

Jan. 31 – Dirt! The Movie. Industrial farming, mining, and urban development have endangered the soil and resulted in cataclysmic droughts, starvation, floods, and climate change. How can humans reconnect to dirt — the living skin of the Earth.
