| Habitat Volunteer Recruitment |
Calling All Volunteers!Do you enjoy working with elementary school children?
There are now six schools involved in the Habitat program, all of which could use your help! Currently, the schools in most need of volunteers are: Territorial in Chino Valley, and Granville and Coyote Springs in Prescott Valley.
How Much Time Do I Commit To? The Habitat Program has twelve lessons that run throughout the 9-month school year. The minimum time commitment would be 12 days out of the school year for about three hours each day. There are also optional work parties at the beginning of each year to prepare materials for each school. Volunteer Tasks: - Assist with lessons during the exploration of the Habitat garden, - Share your knowledge and wonder about science and nature with children and teachers |
