Drawing Classes are an excellent place for beginners and experienced artists to learn and practice their skills in nature observation and illustration. Classes are offered throughout the year and range from series to a single program.

Artist on the Fly: Sketching Birds

World-renowned artist, Neil Rizos, is back again for this popular sketching workshop that teaches and inspires a new view of birds and bird behavior. This program will feature live birds of prey from Heritage Park Zoo. All levels are welcome!
Participants will need to bring their own, drawing pad 11×14 or larger.  Your favorite drawing materials and/or 2B or softer drawing pencils and pencil sharpener, ballpoint pen, black marker, ruler.  Photo of a bird you want to draw – on a digital device or a printout.
