The Highlands Center for Natural History’s Family Nature Festivals are fun for the whole family! From exploring bird migration to digging through owl pellets, these seasonally inspired events allow for hands-on exploration and discovery.

Halloween Happening
In this annual nature-themed Halloween celebration, families are invited to explore the natural wonder of the Highlands Center at night in a safe and exciting environment.
Dissect Owl Pellets!
Listen to stories by candlelight!
Meet live animals from the Heritage Park Zoo!
When: October 30, 2020 from 4pm to 7 pm. You will be asked to choose a one hour time slot. Please come at that time.
Where: Highlands Center for Natural History (1375 Walker Rd)
Cost: Members are free! $6 Adults, $4 Children
Due to COVID-19 all education programming will be outside. Prepare to be comfortable outside, expect to practice physical distancing, and masks are required.
