Eric will treat us to a tasting of local handcrafted wines and explain how the terrior - a French term in wine, coffee and tea used to denote the special characteristics that geography bestowed upon the flavors. Loosely translated, terrior expresses "a sense of place," the embodiment of certain qualities that the vineyard environment has had on the very essence of the wine. At its core is the assumption that the land from which the grapes are grown imparts a unique quality that is specific to that place. This is a fundraiser to benefit the Center's programs.
